Ononobe no Ogoto (物部小事)
ONONOBE no Ogoto (the date of birth and death are unknown) was a member of a Gozoku (powerful family) in the early part of the sixth century (the period between Emperor Ninken and Emperor Ankan). He was the 12th head of the MONONOBE clan. His father was MONONOBE no Futsukuru. One of his older brothers was MONONOBE no Itabi.
It was said that he conquered Bando and was the ancester of MONONOBE no Shinoda no Muraji, MONONOBE no Sousa no Muraji and others. It was also said that Sosa County (now Sosa Province, Chiba Prefecture) was established by the conquest of Bando.
